Epidote is a calcium aluminium iron silicate mineral recognised for its deep olive to pistachio-green tones and elongated prismatic crystal formations. It commonly develops within metamorphic rocks and hydrothermal environments, often growing alongside Quartz, Prehnite, Garnet or Feldspar. With a hardness of 6–7 on the Mohs scale, Epidote forms sturdy yet naturally textured clusters and rough pieces that showcase its earthy, moss-like glow. Found in regions such as Austria, Mexico, Pakistan, Norway and the USA, each specimen carries the grounding strength and steady growth of the Earth itself.
