Larvikite is a dark igneous rock composed primarily of feldspar, known for its distinctive silvery-blue flashes (labradorescence-like effect) caused by light reflecting within its structure. It is sourced mainly from Larvik, Norway, where it forms under cooling magma conditions. With a hardness of approximately 6–6.5 on the Mohs scale, it is a durable and widely used stone in both decorative and spiritual practices.
