Have you ever dreamed of uncovering your own sapphires but can’t make it out to the Gemfields? ✨ No worries — we’re bringing the Gemfields experience to you! These school holidays, join us for a hands-on gem hunting adventure where you’ll learn how to wash and search for your very own sapphires and zircons. We provide all the equipment, making it an easy, exciting and memorable experience for kids and adults alike. The wash we use is sourced directly from Rubyvale in Central Queensland and is guaranteed to contain sparkling gems waiting to be discovered. Guided by our very own Gemhunter Frith, who has over 30 years of experience in sapphire mining and prospecting, you’ll learn real techniques used on the Gemfields while uncovering treasures of your own. 💎 ✨ Approx. 1–2 hour experience ✨ $35 per person ✨ Ages 6+ ✨ Children under 12 must be accompanied by an assisting adult Come experience the excitement of gem hunting and discover why they call it “Gem Fever” — you just might catch it yourself! ✨ Payment required upon booking.
